Shenzhen Futian District Pengju Commercial Mediation Center Announcement for the Selection of Commercial Mediators

To further strengthen the team of commercial mediators, optimize personnel structure, enhance the capacity to resolve commercial disputes, implement relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Commercial Mediation" regarding the management of commercial mediators, and fully leverage the important role of commercial mediation in improving the business environment, the Shenzhen Futian District Pengju Commercial Mediation Center is now publicly recruiting commercial mediators. We seek outstanding professionals with strong expertise and extensive practical experience in the field of commercial mediation. The details are as follows:

01.Principles for the Selection and Appointment of Commercial Mediators

This selection strictly follows the principles of Party supervision over talent, combining moral integrity and professional competence with morality as the priority. It adheres to the criteria of openness, fairness and justice for merit-based appointment, strictly implements the Commercial Mediation Regulation and various management provisions of the center, attaches importance to candidates' professional competence, practical experience and professional ethics, balances the professional diversity of the commercial field and the needs of handling international commercial disputes, so as to ensure the professionalism and public credibility of the mediator team.

02.Responsibilities of a Commercial Mediator

1.To publicize the legal system of commercial mediation and the diversified dispute resolution mechanism, and guide commercial entities to resolve disputes through mediation;

2.To accept the assignment of this center, conduct commercial dispute mediation in a neutral and impartial manner, and facilitate the parties to reach a mediation agreement;

3.To strictly abide by the confidentiality rules of commercial mediation, and shall not disclose state secrets, trade secrets, personal privacy and other undisclosed information obtained during the mediation process;

4.To participate in the professional training and exchange activities for mediators organized by industry associations and this center, and continuously improve professional mediation capabilities;

5.To prepare mediation documents in accordance with requirements, timely feedback the process and results of mediation, properly organize and archive the materials of mediation cases;

6.To conduct theoretical research and practical summary on commercial mediation, and continuously provide professional suggestions for the center to optimize mediation services.

03.Selection Criteria

(I) Basic Qualifications

1.Upholds the leadership of the Communist Party of China, supports the socialist rule of law, abides by the Constitution and laws, conducts oneself with integrity, and performs duties with diligence and responsibility;

2.Holds a bachelor's degree or above, is committed to the mediation cause, and boasts excellent communication and coordination capabilities as well as awareness of dispute resolution;

3.Has sufficient time to participate in mediation work and can efficiently complete mediation tasks assigned by the mediation center;

4.Possesses basic computer skills, is proficient in office software such as Word and Excel, and can meet the working requirements of judicial informatization and commercial mediation digitalization;

5.Has no record of criminal punishment, no bad credit record in professional practice, and has not been included in the list of persons with bad credit or persons prohibited from engaging in relevant industries by competent industrial authorities.

(II) Professional Qualifications

Pursuant to Article 12 of the Commercial Mediation Regulation, an applicant shall meet at least one of the following professional qualifications:

1.Has obtained the legal professional qualification through the National Uniform Legal Professional Qualification Examination, and has engaged in commercial mediation work for no less than 3 years;

2.Has practiced as a lawyer, engaged in arbitration or notarization work for no less than 3 years, or has served as a judge or prosecutor for no less than 3 years;

3.Possesses relevant professional knowledge in law, economics, science and technology and other fields, has engaged in professional work such as law, economic and trade, etc., and holds an intermediate professional title or equivalent professional level;

4.Has engaged in commercial mediation work for no less than 3 years before the implementation of the Commercial Mediation Regulation, and holds a bachelor's degree or above.

(III) Preferred Qualifications

Applicants meeting at least one of the following conditions will receive priority consideration by the center:

1.Has outstanding research achievements or rich practical experience in commercial mediation, arbitration, negotiation promotion, expert review and other fields;

2.Is a foreign-related professional with rich experience in hearing or representing international commercial cases and cross-border commercial disputes, familiarity with international legal systems and commercial practices, and bilingual or multilingual communication capabilities;

3.Has professional representation and industry influence in high-tech, intellectual property rights, maritime and admiralty, financial capital markets, international investment, international trade, construction engineering and other fields;

4.Candidates with an interdisciplinary background in psychology, law, financial management, finance and other disciplines are preferred.

04.Selection and Recruitment Procedure

This selection and recruitment process is implemented in accordance with the standardized procedure of Application Registration → Material Review → Candidate List Recheck → Notification of Appointment.

(Ⅰ) Application Registration

Applicants are required to complete the *202605 Application Form for Mediator of Pengju Commercial Mediation Center* (attached as follows), confirm that all information is correct, and then submit the application form and supporting documents in accordance with the specified requirements.

(Ⅱ) Material Review

The Human Resources Department of the Center is responsible for the selection and recruitment of commercial mediators. The specific appointment procedure is as follows:

1.In accordance with the Commercial Mediation Regulations and the selection requirements specified in this announcement, the Human Resources Department will review the materials submitted by applicants, with key verification on professional qualifications, work experience and other relevant information, and determine the list of candidates who meet the preliminary review requirements.

2.After passing the preliminary review, the Human Resources Department will conduct a recheck of the preliminary qualified candidate list, conduct comprehensive evaluation based on the candidates' professional background, practical experience, qualification conditions and other factors, and finalize the list of proposed mediators.

(Ⅲ) Notification of Appointment

The Human Resources Department of the Center will issue unified appointment notifications to the proposed candidates based on the comprehensive evaluation results; no separate notifications will be sent to unsuccessful applicants.

05.Application Method

(Ⅰ) Application Process

Applicants must complete the application form, carefully verify information such as name and qualifications to ensure accuracy and authenticity. After completion, please save all application materials as a compressed file and send it via email to the designated registration address. The subject line of the email and the filename of the attachment should both follow the format: "Name + Mediator Application Form."

(Ⅱ) Material Requirements

1.Application Form for Mediator at Pengju Commercial Mediation Center, May 2026;

2.Copies of documents proving identity, academic qualifications, professional titles, and language proficiency;

3.Copies of relevant certificates such as the Legal Profession Qualification Certificate, Attorney Practice Certificate, and Arbitrator Qualification Certificate;

4.Work experience, commercial mediation/legal practice/industry performance verification documents;

5.Personal credit report and a personal statement confirming no criminal record or adverse professional credit history;

6.Other materials that demonstrate professional competence and industry influence (such as award certificates, research achievements, case documents, etc.).

This recruitment is open-ended and no application fee is charged. Application materials submitted by candidates will not be returned, and all materials will be treated in strict confidentiality by this Center. All materials submitted by candidates must be authentic, accurate and valid.
